Why not make your next children's party a Sew Brilliant sewing party?
You provide the premises, the children, the cake and the balloons and I provide an hour and a half to two hours of sewing entertainment for up to eight partygoers who will each make a gorgeous felt cushion or a pretty sleep-over bag to take home with them.
How does this work?
First you need to choose the theme for the party; I offer four of them for the felt cushion and two colour choices for the bag. (View options)- Then I send you a pack of party invitations, 2 or 3 weeks before the party day.
- On the day itself I arrive half an hour before the party starts, bringing all the sewing equipment and materials with me, including party bags for your guests to take their creation home in and a simple sewing kit to encourage more sewing in the future.
- The children will learn and practice some very easy hand stitching and then move on to decorating the front of a felt cushion or bag. They will then complete their project using a sewing machine.
Cost: £120 for up to a maximum of 8 children. (8 years old or over)

Cushions
The four themes for the cushions are:
- Hearts and flowers, the simplest and most suitable for 8 and 9 year olds.
- Safari Animals
Bugs and Butterflies- Pirates
There is a choice of colours for the cushion. Chose any three from: Red, Green, Pale blue, Yellow, Purple, Lilac, Black, White
Sleep-over Bags
The Sleep-over bags are still at the design stage but pictures and colour choices will be posted shortly
